We're proud to share that Baker's Walking Company was featured in the Summer 2025–26 edition of RACT's Journeys magazine.
RACT is one of Tasmania's most trusted institutions, and being highlighted by their editorial team is a meaningful endorsement — not just of the experience we offer, but of the standard we hold ourselves to.
The article, titled Walk, Rest and Rejuvenation, captures something we think about a lot: that a great day in the wilderness isn't just about the walking. It's about what comes after — the open-air baths, the sauna, the unhurried meal made from local produce. The physical reward balanced with genuine rest.
We were featured alongside other exceptional operators contributing to Tasmania's visitor economy, which reflects a broader mission we care about: championing regional tourism in the north of the state.
