Everything you should know before you arrive at our Tasmanian estate.
Exclusive access to a 1,137-acre private estate. Unlike public trails, we are the only scale operator on private land in Tasmania, offering total privacy and no crowds.
Our day walks are designed to be accessible for most fitness levels. The pace is unhurried, with regular stops. Distances vary by route, and guides adapt the experience to the group.

Wildlife is part of the landscape, but sightings depend on conditions and season. Our guides know the land well and choose routes that offer strong opportunities for spotting native species. Species that we may see include the Tasmanian Devil and Swift Parrot.

We understand that plans can change. Please refer to our cancellation policy on the booking page for details, or contact us directly if you have any concerns. Generally, our day tours only require 24 hours notice, with longer required for all multi-day or more complex tours.
There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing! That being said, safety is our number one priority. If the weather conditions are unsuitable for hiking, we may reschedule the tour or offer an alternative experience. We’ll notify you as soon as possible with any changes.
The tours are different. Day walks include everything except transport, while multi-days include everything including transport from Devonport but not flights. Detailed overviews can be found on individual experience pages.
Yes. You can join an existing scheduled group walk or book a private guide for a tailored solo experience.
Basic hiking gear. We provide a checklist including sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.
Yes. These are available online for specific dollar amounts or full experience packages.
Yes, this is our specialty. We can fully customise retreats for private groups or corporate teams. We can include things such as privaet chef's, massage therapists and of course, make sure the walking route is suitable for you.
Through off-grid operations and active land management. We maintain the estate as a private sanctuary for native species and 1% of our profits go towards preserving the Tasmanian Devil population.
10:30 am start. Please arrive 15 minutes early at 10:15 am. Walks go for 5 hours, finishing at 3:30 pm.
For most. If you can walk 5km at a slow pace then you are fit enough. If you're still concerned then contact us.
Basic bush walking gear. This is 5 hours in the bush and food is provided. So, you really only need the appropriate clothing, water and word in hiking boots. Still, we provide a checklist.
Local Tasmanian produce. This includes fruits, snacks, meats, and cheeses. We can cater to dietary requirements.
Yes. There are toilets available at the lunch spot, which is approximately 2 hours from when we start.
Typically 4 to 10 people. We keep groups small so the experience never feels rushed.

A small pack with personal essentials. We handle the heavy lifting, so you only need to bring clothes for the trail and the evening. Refer to the specific walk experience page to get a detailed list.
Yes. Our off-grid lodge has facilities for charging cameras and phones courtsey of being powered by solar.
We can cater to all requirements. We use high-quality local Tasmanian produce for all curated meals.
Limited. We encourage guests to use the space to properly switch off and experience Tasmania without digital noise. Many of the tracks are tenious but th ehouse itsself is equipped with Starlink fast speed internet.

We generally proceed rain or shine. Our private track network allows us to adjust itineraries on the fly to keep you safe and comfortable.

Yes. We plan the entire experience with you to ensure the best fit for your team. We have a network of businesses and offerings that can be added to your experience. We cover all this in our planning phase.
Yes. Walks can be adapted to suit varying abilities, and time in the landscape can be balanced with rest, discussion, and quiet space.
9 people on the property. The lodge has 5 bedrooms for a small and intimate feel, but we also operate a network of nearby Air bnbs and offer camping options for larger groups.

Yes. Your team will have total privacy on the estate without the chaos of public trail crowds.
Yes, quite easily. We integrate these into the planning process and partner with others to give your group the exact experience you need.
Usually 3 days. This typically involves 3 days on the property along with an additional day beforehand to arrive and explore the local area.
Yes. Transport from within Tasmania is included, and we handle the logistics as part of your custom itinerary.
