How refunds work
Refund and Satisfaction Guarantee Policy
1. Cancellations and Refunds Prior to Commencement of Services
1.1 Multi-Day Walks
1.1. Guests may cancel their booking for any reason and receive a full refund provided that such cancellation is made no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled commencement of the walk or tour.
1.2. Cancellations made within seven (7) calendar days of the scheduled tour commencement shall be eligible for a full refund only if the vacated booking is subsequently filled by another guest. In the event that the booking is not filled, the guest shall be entitled to either:
- (a) a fifty percent (50%) refund, or
- (b) a credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the booking value, which may be applied to a future booking within twelve (12) months.
1.3. Exceptions to the above may be made in circumstances of genuine personal emergency or other exceptional situations at the sole discretion of Bakers Walking Co.
1.2 Day Walks
1.4. For day walks, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place.
1.5. Guests may cancel a day-walk booking more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the walk and shall be entitled to either:
- (a) a full refund, or
- (b) a transfer to another available date, subject to availability.
1.6. Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled commencement of a day walk shall be entitled to either:
- (a) a fifty percent (50%) refund, or
- (b) a transfer to another available date, subject to availability.
1.3 Corporate Bookings
1.7. Corporate bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the agreed booking payment(s) as specified in the corporate booking agreement or invoice.
1.8. Corporate cancellations made more than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled commencement of services shall be eligible for a full refund of payments made, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on behalf of the client.
1.9. Corporate cancellations made within fourteen (14) calendar days of the scheduled commencement of services shall be eligible for either:
- (a) a fifty percent (50%) refund, or
- (b) a credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount paid, which may be applied to a rescheduled date within twelve (12) months, subject to availability.
1.10. Where Bakers Walking Co. is able to rebook the vacated corporate date with another booking of equal or greater value, a full refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Bakers Walking Co (less any non-recoverable third-party costs, if applicable).
1.11. Exceptions to the above may be made in circumstances of genuine emergency or other exceptional situations at the sole discretion of Bakers Walking Co.
2. Post-Experience Satisfaction Guarantee
2.1. Bakers Walking Co. offers a full 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If a guest is not satisfied with the experience for any reason, they may request a refund of the full booking amount provided that the request is made:
- (a) during the course of the tour, or
- (b) within twenty-four (24) hours following the conclusion of the tour.
2.2. No specific reason is required to invoke this guarantee. Refunds under this clause will be granted at the guest’s request, subject to the limitations in Clause 3 below.
3. Fair Use and Abuse Prevention
3.1. To ensure the long-term viability of this policy, Bakers Walking Co. reserves the right to decline future bookings or limit refund eligibility for any individual who, in the reasonable opinion of the company, engages in fraudulent, excessive, or bad-faith use of the refund or satisfaction guarantee policies.
3.2. All approved refunds shall be processed to the original payment method within a period of three (3) to five (5) business days from the date of approval.
